Families and school work together so children can stay focused and ready to learn.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><b>Morning Snack<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Students bring a snack from home each day and may eat it during the morning recess break. Families are encouraged to pack simple, nutritious options such as fruit, crackers, or other items that will keep children satisfied and energized until lunchtime.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><b>Lunch Program<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>JASD offers a well-balanced hot lunch program based on Japanese cuisine four days a week. Lunches are prepared with care and served hot and fresh, featuring Japanese fusion dishes with occasional Western influences. Typical menus may include rice, vegetables, and Japanese-style main dishes, alongside familiar Western favorites. Families who choose not to participate in the lunch program, or on days when lunch is not provided, may send a home-packed lunch with their child.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><b>Afternoon Snack (for After School Care)<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Students who stay for after school care are required to bring an additional afternoon snack from home.
